Module 3 - Defending from various grabs, strangles and chokes

In self-defence situations when someone has hold of you, the speed and timing of your reaction, plus the execution of your technique is vital in ensuring your escape.

Once you are successful in your initial response to an attack, it is vital that you make your escape as quickly as possible so as not to allow your attacker to regain advantage of the situation.

Please note, the points of the body that are struck when escaping from these holds, plus the direction in which the attacker is sent, always determines the end result.
